What Is Bodmas Rule?
Bodmas can also be written as Bidmas. Brackets, Order, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction. It tells us the order that we should compute numbers in - it makes sure we're all on the same page.
Bodmas worksheets are available under algebra worksheets as well as under number worksheets.

How To Do Bodmas
Hey so here's a handy visual to help you remember that Bodmas stands for: Brackets, Order, Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction. 'Order' stands for all of the "powers and roots" - we do it second. The image below shows the rules for Bodmas.

The image below shows four bodmas example questions. The first bodmas question is 3 + 4 x 5. The answer is 23. The second bodmas question is 19 - 6 x 2. The answer is 7. The third bodmas question is (7 + 5) ÷ 3. The answer is 4. The fourth bodmas question is 8 + (4 - 2) x 10. The answer is 28.
