Bodmas or Bidmas, which do you prefer? What does it even mean? Brackets, Order, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction. It tells us the order that we should compute numbers in - it makes sure we're all on the same page. For example if you and your colleague decide to do some maths at your birthday party, your colleague says: "Hey, what's 2 + 3 x 4". You say confidently, it's 20!" then your colleague checks on a calculator and gets an answer of 14. It's BODMAS 😏
